Hello,all!
I greet you here at about 11:00 Alaska time, about to head to bed. It's been a busy couple of days, from flying up on Saturday to Anchorage and then sleeping over, and then flying into Kodiak the next day.
Yesterday I participated in a boat trip which involved taking supplies over to a nearby island. While about half of the team was away there the other half of our group climbed one the highest mountain on Kodiak, named Barometer.
Today we got down to work, starting off the day with a chapel service and then working straight through to 5 PM with a lunch break in between. We've just arrived back about an hour ago from an interesting trail that we hiked over the course of our evening.
I know I speak for the whole team when I say that I am extremely tired but extremely excited.
